Jan. 9th, 2003 11:14 pmWent over to Christina's around 2:30, hung out a bit. Went to Old Navy to try to exchange boxers received for Xmas, only to be told "They came from the Outlet, you have to exchange them there", there being Sterling or Potomac Mills. Inconvenient!
Met her mom at Don Pablo's at 6 for dinner, 'cause they had a "buy one, get one free" for the new corn-tortilla-fried shrimp dish. DP's has no cocktail sauce! They should rectify that. Otherwise, tasty.
Back to their place, where we all hung out chatting (and feeding fish to their snakes and skinks) until about 11, then I came home.
Oh yeah, the kitchen here has a brand-spankin'-new electric range, with one of those nifty smooth ceramic cooktops, and a convection fan in the oven. And while I was out all afternoon/evening, most of the hardwood floor in the new room was installed. The family room and/or kitchen might get done this weekend, meaning I'd have to be home for it--parents out of town to visit my uncle, just underwent a quintuple bypass and heart valve replacement.
