Left for Misty's around 8 last night, where the theme was Drinking Game Movies! The only movie we actually drank to (and that was certainly enough) was Clue, which I don't think I'd seen in at least 15 years--at the house on Sudley Manor. The game: take a drink every time Mr. Body is mentioned, someone screams, the doorbell rings, someone ogles Yvette's breasts, the lights go on, the lights go out, Yvette speaks French, someone smokes, someone drinks.. needless to say, it's really easy to get drunk with that game. My drinks were a Parrot Bay & Coke, Kahlua and Coke, and screwdriver.
Then, having had enough drinking, we watched Gone in 60 Seconds, which was great.. those cars are so, damn, sexy. Then, we watched most of Star Wars Ep 4 but fell asleep before the end, around 5am.
Got up around noon, had pancakes and eggs for breakfast, and started watching the MST3K'd Hamlet--a dubbed German version, which was really terrible--and aborted that in favor of, once again, Space Mutiny. Later came Spiderman, which I hadn't seen, which was great.. exciting, good story, very well done graphically, and Kirsten Dunst is hot as a redhead. :) After the remaining people planned a LAN party to play Unreal Tournament at some point in the near future, I went home around 5ish.. stopped by the petstore, visited the macaw, got to hand-feed it, got some crickets, and came home to learn that we had a reservation for Bamboo--a local Japanese restaurant--at 6pm for Matt's upcoming birthday (Monday).
Dinner was quite tasty--better than the sushi I had with Mike in California--and now I'm back home catching up on LJ (~70 posts) and email (only ~14 pieces, plus 12 spam at AOL) and whatnot from the last 25+ hours. I'm also listening to a copy of the "Music to F*ck By" compilation Matt created entitled Hot Buttered Love. :)
And, um, apparently now I'm going over to Matt & Steph's to watch the first episode of 24, season 1, which Matt got all of on DVD from my mom. Will catch up on LJ later, I suppose!
