A friend of mine just left town for about five days (Thursday evening through Tuesday afternoon) and was complaining about the prolific nature of his friends--30 posts in that time!

My friends page, just the non-picture journal group, sported 380 posts in the same time span. ;)
Hell, I posted 20 times in that time span, but he doesn't read my journal. :)

In other news, I just dropped off an application at PetsMart so I can make a few dollars until I find a real job, and get discounts on purchases; then, I biked home in a roundabout route that made my total trip.. *checks map* a bit over seven miles.

I expected that [livejournal.com profile] palmlj would supply an actual client program for the PDA, that communicated with LJ's servers much like AvantGo communicates with its own.. but no, it's just a web interface that AvantGo connects to.. pretty limited (partly by AvantGo's protocols' own limitations), with very little support on the PalmLJ webpage--empty FAQs, no feature lists, no troubleshooting, etc.

a) I'd do better to compose posts in Memo Pad, HotSync them into my computer and c&p them over into my Semagic client.
b) I'd like someone to develop an actual client program, but I have insufficient knowledge of PalmOS programming and LJ protocols to do so myself..

Update, moments later: a.2) The client doesn't seem to work right anyway.. to hell with it. :P

So, lacking any open IMs or new LJ posts, I followed a link from one of the comics I read to another, read its archives earlier, and am now reading another one linked from the first..

Misty the Mouse and Sabrina Online

Both are anthro[po?]morphic and have interesting stories; Sabrina is both better-drawn and has a better story; and, incidentally, is done entirely on an Amiga. :) (And neither are 100% work-safe, but they're generally pretty tame.)

In other linking, we have Dancing Bush, courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] emollifyx24; and, among other [livejournal.com profile] news, account renaming is available again! Not that I'm interested, personally.

Update, 0030: Upon finishing the archives of Sabrina, I decided I liked what I'd read well enough to email the author and tell him so. :)
