Mm, ice cream, cards, and Steven Seagal.
Jul. 5th, 2002 12:47 amWent over to Laurel's to help her finish off two quarts of Edy's ice cream--her parents had bought them for her on sale, and she's leaving in a day or two to spend 6 weeks elsewhere, so they needed finishing.
We then played a card game called Maneuver (explanation if anyone really wants it--similar to gin/rummy, but you can rearrange other people's cards on the table); Laurel won the first game, Jen the second. During ice cream and cards, we watched various fireworks, symphonies, and american history bits on TV.
Then we watched most of On Deadly Ground, starring Steven Seagal as "Mystical martial artist/environmental agent takes on a ruthless oil corporation."
Now, packing a bit for tomorrow's trip, then to sleep. :)
