As many of you know, I'm all about remembering people's birthdays and, at the least, sending an email or making an LJ post.

I manually counted all the birthdays listed in my Visor for 2002... over 330 of 'em in there. And 17 anniversaries. :)

  • Installed ATI Radeon drivers (previously downloaded)

    Courtesy of TJ's Mike Stueben:

A couple lived near the ocean and used to walk the beach a lot. One summer they noticed a girl who was at the beach pretty much every day. She wasn't unusual, nor was the travel bag she carried, except for one thing; she would approach people who were sitting on the beach, glance around furtively, then speak to them. Generally the people would respond negatively and she would wander off, but occasionally someone would nod and there would be a quick exchange of money and something she carried in her bag. The couple assumed she was selling drugs, and debated calling the cops, but since they didn't know for sure they just continued to watch her.

Went to bed around 03 last night because I had to get up around 09.. didn't get to sleep until after 04, in part because I just wasn't really tired (slept late and afternoon nap yesterday, perhaps?) and in part because the ferrets decided 4am was a good time to need food and water refill.
And then I woke up around 07, and 08, and finally 09, with a few times in between. :P

So Ali suggested we go see Waking Life next Wednesday, which we discovered is only showing at Cineplex Odeon Foundry, in Georgetown, at 1055 Thomas Jefferson St., NW.
The map on the theater's webpage doesn't work.
The DC Metro location finder can't find that address. Perhaps because...
"Thomas Jefferson Street" doesn't exist on my ADC street map, but Jefferson St. does. As does Jefferson Place, but that's the wrong street.
The MovieFone extension for that theater in the newspaper doesn't work.
Eventually plugged it into MapQuest, found it, and discovered it's not particularly close to any Metro station. 7 or 8 blocks from Foggy Bottom, probably the closest.

Final plan: Meet at I St. West exit of Foggy Bottom. Seems the shortest walk.

If you get an email about a supposed virus, featuring the file sulfnbk.exe, it's a hoax.
