Tracking down which Seth Kaufman CD I had:

I had artist, number of tracks, and track lengths to go by. No titles.

Checked Napster, got 24 search results, saw among them "Seth Kaufman - The Blue Light - 07 - Flight.mp3" which matched the track length of my "TRACK07.mp3". Seemed likely that was the album.

Tracking down its track listing:

1) Checked the website listed in his 1996 album, Circling Noon (http://www.cybernet.net/~helboy/casca.html). It wasn't there, and www.cybernet.net redirects to www.hostmaster.com, which isn't there either.

2) Checked the website listed in his 1999 album, Red Descending (http://SethKaufman.iuma.net). It wasn't there either, and it's host, the Internet Underground Music Archive had no listing for him.

3) ArtistDirect had no listing for him.

4) CDDb.com has listings for three of his four albums, including The Blue Light.

Huzzah!

P.S. - Track 7 matches, too.

April 12. Current temp 63. Today was gorgeous and sunny, if a bit windy. Low tonight of 49.

Spring, right?

Tomorrow, high of 51, low of 31, and windy.

Then a couple days of mid-50s down to mid-30s.

Then six days of mid-to-high-40s to freezing or below. And snow two of those days.

Wow.

This is an awesome response to anti-homosexuality picketers and protestors. (Or any comparable unpleasant types.)

(Thanks to Jo for the link.)

Just raided the collection on this work computer (273 mp3s, 1.22GB) for ones I wanted and didn't have..

Collected an even 300MB in 65 mp3s. 33 that comprise the Barenaked Ladies' concert Barenaked Summer Night; 10 that comprise Weezer - Pinkerton, half a dozen NIN, a cool cover of Foo Fighters' Down in the Park by NIN&Marilyn Manson, and assorted others (BNL, Blink 182, Dynamite Hack, Everlast, Fuel, Hootie, Orgy, South Park, Staind, Tori, and Nickelback.)

Mmm, music.

This one is nice.. a Tom Waits cover.

I currently have nothing due anytime soon. The weather is nice. And in my bag, I actually have a book I want to read. For pleasure! Albeit I spent most of work transferring mp3s, but if I hadn't, I would've actually had time to sit down and read with no other obligations. You have no idea how happy this makes me. =)
