Went to bed late, set the alarms for 0430. Woke up to a phone call a few minutes after 06, when I was supposed to be in Bethesda already! High-tailed it north, arriving about 0715, and learning that, fortunately, it didn't actually matter. The truck being used to move the datacenter's equipment was full, so they'd left to unload and didn't return until after I arrived! (And since it only took me a few minutes to "deinstall" the library, the timing was just fine.) Walked to the new location, installed, tested, and joined two of the guys there for a late breakfast at Booeymonger. (Bethesda is a rather upscale area, I found--cars, architecture, art, and costs.)
And then I drove home in crappy, crappy driving weather (rain and fog), stopped by the ABC store to pick up a couple things for
gothiccripple's party tonight, and caught up on LJ. Haven't caught up on sleep, though. :P
