First stop today, FAA again, where we had to move the library I set up last week, get them to run alternate power that should already have been in place; and configure the connection to hosts which weren't attached yet. Quality.
Second stop, lunch. Mmm, Chinese Buffet.
Third stop, OrbImage, a subsidiary-ish of Orbital. A whole lot of cool satellelite photos on the walls, and a nifty satellite command center. Also, cute girls. And Linux hosts which weren't seeing tape drives properly, which took Rob and another employee most of the afternoon to kind of fix.
Fourth stop, parents' house, after battling heavy traffic on 28S.
Fifth stop, Winchester, to pick up Shauna for Thanksgiving break, including a) heavy traffic on 66W--all Gainesville's fault!--and the fun of dark, drizzly, foggy, unmarked pavement. Gah! However, spicy buffalo wing chicken jerky = tasty. Also, Reese's peanut Pieces = tasty. But not together. :)
Sixth stop, the parents' again, featuring dinner, House, and Adult Swim.

Dude! I just learned (via [livejournal.com profile] abz6598) that the USPS has a new feature--11"x8.5"x5.5" Priority Mail boxes, weight limit 70#, flat rate $7.70. That's crazy, yo.

Ok, I think that the flat rate priority mail box in that size is a great idea for shipping legal briefs (or at least part of them, I mean, the term brief doesn't really apply to most of them, now does it?) If Love N Lotions and Leather N Lashes don't take off, I do still plan to go to law school.
As for the stickers, I sooooo wish my Mom was still a teacher so I could have access to schoolbooks and print out the stickers and put them in textbooks. I might just have to print them and put them in the kids books - at least that's two books with them.
As for the Withoug skreidle thing...well...
Without skreidle, I never would have ummm...done things on a stage and we'll leave it at that since this is a public post.

Based on the size of the box, I'm sure the intent is papers--though "legal size" is 8.5"x14".

Yes, but even though they call it "legal sized" most legal documents don't seem to be written on 8.5*14" paper. Probably because reems of 8.5*11 are cheaper even in bulk and when you count number of inches due to the mass production of them being so much greater than the 8.5*14. Well, at least the legal documents I've seen haven't been on 8.5*14 paper.
