Bystanders with heavy equipment, utterly horrifying names, and food and movies

Unlicensed teened driver strikes, injures motorcyclist, attempts to flee scene; escape prevented by angry bystanders with front-end loaders.

This.. this is a truly horrifying set of actual things people have named their children. Hallah Lujah! Zestpoole! Blondeen! Aquanetta! Brinderella! Chod! Vvhs! Iron Rod! Jennyfivetina! Vinyl, Orlon, Chlorine! Hereditary! Justa Cowgirl! Thermos! Sambo! Walkasheaqua! Slaughter! Apathy! VulvaMae! Abcde! Vyquetoriya! LaDonnaJosephrania! And oh, so many more...

Went classy for lunch, for my last company-paid meal--Wolfgang Puck Express! Where else can you spend $17 on a bbq chicken & provolone sandwich, a small bowl of mac&cheese, and a soda? During the flight, watched I, Robot, which was pretty cool. After I got back to VA, I drove straight to Matt & Steph's house, where we collectively failed to convince my Powerbook, or Matt's iBook, to see or fix my Powerbook's hard disk. Guess I'll see what the local Apple store has to say, then look into data recovery (and extended Apple warranty coverage.) By that time, Matt's parents had arrived, and a tasty dinner was had; afterward, Matt and his dad fetched an ice cream cake from Coldstone. Mmm. We (Matt and I, and later everyone) watched some of Bike Build-Off, then about half of Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde, followed by the new Stepford Wives. Kinda freaky, very entertaining. (Still want to see the original, and read the book.

Nope, haven't removed the hard drive--and I'm pretty sure that would void my warranty, though I'm not sure of it. (Through firewire and another Mac, you can [try to] mount a drive from another machine.)
