skreidleSpent the day at work meandering through the second prereq course--estimated 6 hours, normally taken over a week's time--and finished by late afternoon. In the middle, lunch at Tara Thai with Arnie and Dale, charged to a corporate card because most of the discussion was business. Good food, better for being free. :D
After work, I slogged through traffic, got a haircut, came home, and took the course assessment--a locked Word document with blanks and checkboxes--before emailing it back to the appropriate mailbox. I'm sure I did well enough to pass, but I'll find out how well by CoB tomorrow. After all that, read through the rest of the New Hire binder and found some more paperwork to fill out.
Tomorrow at 08, bi-weekly conference call. Tomorrow at work, security paperwork, possibly fingerprinting at the main Fairfax police office, and travel arrangement. Tomorrow mid-day, while I'm at work but Nathan's home, new carpet gets installed. Thus, I helped Nathan move some furniture/junk out of the living room, and helped run cable for the A/V stuff. (Now, the VCR, DVD, XBox, GameCube, PS2, and VHS rewinder all fit on the shelves under the TV, and the N64, Genesis, GBA, and all manner of controllers and cables, are all hiding in drawers underneath. I have never owned any of the listed devices, not even a TV or VCR. :)

idoru, LickMyJesus.com is a pretty entertaining, if non-sequitur-y and rather bizarre, live-action-photo-based comic-of-sorts. :)
Also, I discovered that Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie have crazy numbers of free mp3s up at AmpCast--26 I didn't have, plus plenty of overlap with the 48 I already did. Fun music/rants/skits!
