LJ Int Stats, Reps for Voldy, and BC

Haha! Lies, damn lies, and statistics (about LJ interests)
Good news for Jesus: you just beat Wicca, 26185 to 26173
Bad news for Jesus: You lost to Adult Swim, 26185 to 26244

DDR (Dance Dance Revolution, 24493) is slightly more popular than college (24041), not to mention a damn sight cheaper.

Whee! Jon Rosenberg (of Goats) and the Republicans For Voldemort Street Team--at the RNC protests--got articles in the Wall Street Journal and Newsday, plus interviews with the NY Post, Fuse Television, and a few radio stations! Read about it and see photos from the protests here!

And now for something completely different--I was previously unaware of this newer form of birth control, NuvaRing. Spiffy!
(This came up in a discussion following [livejournal.com profile] rozallin's post about the current anti-women administration in the US, and UK vs. US on BC.)

I've used NuvaRing for a couple years. It is too awesome. Perfect for lazy, forgetful people...and mine even came with a timer, so I never have to calculate dates. I laugh at women who take pills or wear patches!

Wonder why it isn't more well-known/popular?

My guess would be the widespread reluctance to put one's fingers in one's hooha. Because, eww! I do wonder why they don't advertise widely, though. Perhaps they figure the market for it consists of the type of women who will find them, instead of vice versa?

However, there are 169 members of [livejournal.com profile] nuva_ring, so yay. :-)

Do the women with that opinion also "not masturbate"? ;)

It does seem to have some solid points going for it, though--monthly change, constant flow of hormones instead of weekly/daily spikes, not to mention no sticker-edge fuzz! :D
