Updates

Kitchen cabinets/walls have been dried off, floor has been swept/mopped.
Furniture and lots of loose stuff have been moved to the dry side of the living room.
ServiceMaster guy is here, tearing up carpet/padding and drying things out, including a fan that pumps air under the carpet. Moonbounce!
Plumber from My Plumber is on the way.

No call from ADIC yet--perhaps I'll give them a call shortly.
I'll also head over to Christine's as soon as I can get away with it. ;)

im amazed you managed to get all those folks to respond so quickly. i had to wait > 2 weeks to get a plumber to come look at our problem, and even longer for the drywall guy to come fix it. glad to hear its all getting handled.

Insured through State Farm, service on the carpet from ServiceMaster, plumbing through My Plumber, undetermined drywall.

Thing is, we had to cut off the house's water supply so this high-pressure leak stopped, meaning we're without all water until it's repaired. Estimate was "before 10pm," and the actual "within two hours" was nice. :)

Also, quick response on a soggy carpet/pad was good to head off mildew.
