Weather&riding, "early" night, blue moons and tall buildings

Apparently there was a lot of crazy flash flooding in the DC area earlier this week, which I managed to avoid entirely. In fact, by Wednesday night when I rode my motorcycle out to Fast Eddie's in Centreville for the bi-weekly SCRC meetup, it wasn't raining and the roads were dry--hence the riding and not driving--and it wasn't until I was almost back to Lorton after 2100 that I encountered some mist/fog/condensation that was rather annoying to a motorcyclist. (Had a good hour at FE, though--some of the regulars I knew already, a couple people I hadn't met, and a few free slices of pizza. :)

Got home around 10, talked to Christine for an hour a bit later, and proceeded to fall asleep in my clothes, waking up around 1am when Nathan came upstairs, changing out, and crashing for the night. Woke up around 0830! Crazy thing happen when you get to sleep before midnight.
