At work today, I got to hear a series of stories from James Jimbo, a big bear of a guy, about all the serious fights he's gotten into, both while traveling and at home, including an extended encounter with the Mexican mafia one summer in Washington. Crazy stuff!

Oddly enough, there is a huge illegal mexican population in Washington state. They come up to work the tulip fields for next to no money, and most of them are pretty ok folk. Especially in places like Mt. Vernon, where I used to go to college.

On the other hand, the place across from my college had the BEST mexican food I've ever had.

I was unaware that a) Washington had expansive tulip fields, and b) large populations of illegal Mexicans penetrated that far into the country for work.
