WireWork, novelties from the ride home, and an assortment of links

Work today involved turning a mess of wires around a door into a very neat set of wire runs. I do good work. :D Work also featured two kinds of free brownies, which is never a bad thing. :) (And I learned that my team leader and one of my teammates have headed to New Zealand for a day to take advantage of a loophole in travel authorizations and time limits on working in Australia. Would've been nice to know this ahead of time, but I rarely get told much of anything--not that I'm bitter or anything. :P)

On the way home from work, I saw a whole mob of kangaroos--at least 15, I'd say, maybe 20--but they all hopped off before I could get any pictures, even though my camera was in my pocket today. :) I also saw some strange megacanoes--6-16 paddlers, with a coach at the tiller on the larger one. Took pictures. Odd. A bit later on the trip home, I got SMSed by Liz (the cute redhead from a while back) who wants to go clubbing this weekend. Woo! :)

And apparently Jillian just saw a preview for Shrek 2, and has rated it "FUCKING AWESOME!!!" :D

Don't be dumb, and don't install non-trustworthy software. Osama AIM virus info and possible removal info.

  • Turing Train Terminal. Yes, that Turing. And model trains. Geeky-nifty.

[livejournal.com profile] kelwyn: "I wish I could open a Vietnamese noodle joint called Pho Shizzle, but someone already did." Hee. (Of course, "Pho" isn't pronounced "Fo'", but we'll let that slide. :)
  • Heart-Shaped Skull looks pretty. Comics and art and whatnot. Rather Tim Burton-esque. :)

From Jillian, ISeeYouPee.com--a variety of entertaining links and such. :)

From Ian of Mac Hall, an interactive art assignment: Cute or Creepy v2. (Well, I'm assuming it'll be cool when it's finished, which should be soon. :)
