Suppose I should get to postcard-writing and sightseeing-planning, as I have Monday off, wherein I plan to: Mail postcards via AusPOST, take my bike to the shop, and have Jillian act as my personal tour guide for whatever it is I want to see in Canberra. :) (But first, some dinner is in order.)

Shauna, why oh why did you subject me/us to that, uh, delightful rendition of Oh Holy Night?

honestly, i'm not surprised by the bra-industry stuff. mirrors the entire women's clothing industry. i think at the current moment the only piece of clothing i'm wearing that is actually "women's clothing" is my socks, because men do not have feet the size of mine. in general i don't wear a bra, for most of the reasons listed in that article, and because i'm small enough not to need one under most circumstances. i generally get by with a tank top underneath whatever clothing i'm wearing, and even that's mostly for warmth purposes.

    fashion over function, indeed. pfah.

because it HURTS SO GOOD, brother mine. the first time i heard that, i was laughing so hard i couldn't BREATHE -- and crying -- because you think it can't get worse, and it KEEPS GETTING WORSE!!

very end: "oh night deeviiiiiiiiiiiiii [breath] iiiiiiiiiiiine."

    brilliance.

that, and you cannot joke around and be that godawful -- that guy really has to be convinced he can sing. that's a sincere performance. you can't MAKE your voice do those things, even if you aren't a singer. [jen's tried.]

Whee! Much easier to put up photos now than when it was all manual and whatnot. Might gallery a lot of the older pix, too.
