Went over to C's, then to Fair Oaks; shopped a bit, had dinner at Bennigan's, came back to Manassas. Went to UHaul again, pulled my -other- bag of winter accessories from storage (really, I have too many), and went home. Took out contacts, as they'd been in for 7+hrs, on the "6 hours" day. (Started at 4hrs, add 2hrs/day, up to 16 max--conveniently Saturday, when I'll be snowboarding. :) Gave her her new coat, which she adored; then watched Boston Public (I'd never seen it before, good show) and Joe Millionaire (also never seen it before, dumb show full of petty bitches; Evan reminds me of the evil advisor's minion in The Emperor's New Groove). Watched a bit of news (first DC Metro derailment in 4 years, near National Airport; two deaths from possible drag racing in MD), came home.

I did not watch Boston Public tonight, on account of I had a pantload of work to do. I like it a lot, though I think recent episodes have unfortunately gone the route of the soap opera. This is the reason I stopped watching ER and Chicago Hope -- they both got too soapy for my tastes.

I'd never seen BP before, and I don't think I've seen CH either. ER is a bit soapy, but has enough hospital excitement to still be interesting.

This BP featured a teacher/parent affair, the marriage breakup, the student finding out, a recruitment bribe, the coach finding out, a student found to be living in a sweatshop, threats of blackmail and violence, that sort of thing.

Hehe... the "minion" to Elsa ( i think that was her name anyways) that was KRUNK! I'm sad i know, but it's one of my favorite movies... ;) I'm watching 3rd Rock From the Sun right now- it entertains me b/c nothing else that interesting is on.

I knew it was Kronk or Krunk, but was too lazy to look it up at imdb.com :)
