Got to work, empty office. Did some paperwork. Eventually Dale arrived, who's quite an entertaining character. We had lunch. Much later, Dale left, and Leo returned from a service call, having left his laptop in the office for reasons unknown. Tomorrow, we go install some equipment for PBS.

During work today, I realized that it would be silly to drive home (60-90min) after work only to turn around and drive back to Falls Church (~30min), when my destination--Coleman Powersports by 1800--was four miles from my office. Thus, I hung around the office a bit later than I otherwise would've, then headed over to Coleman, arriving around 1715. (There was a sale, see--43% off all in-stock helmets, plus a few other items, but only from 1800-1900.) I figured by getting there early, I could check out the wares, and potentially make a purchase in the 1800 hour.

It was a pre-game party, see--every Monday this season, there's a special discount (where the percent off is the sum of last week's scores) from 1800-1900, with free snacks, followed by a free showing of the game at the State Theatre in Arlington, with free wings at half-time, and the Hooters girls.

Anyhow, their selection of any gear that would fit me, particularly rain gear, was quite sparse, but I looked around for a while anyway, tried on a bunch of helmets, found several that fit well, but I don't need another helmet. (I was quite impressed by the versatility of Joe Rocket's Alter Ego jacket, but I have a decent multi-season jacket.) I also oohed and aahed over many of the motorcycles, particularly the breathtaking dark blue Ducati Monster S4R--I'm not exaggerating, my breath caught--and sat on many, just to see. (I can't afford nor house a second bike right now, but I can dream. :D) I also chatted with some rather affable riders, and a rather uppity salesman--he wouldn't get a sale from me, that's for sure.

Best license plate I saw today: SORCER S

This is yet another site full of delightful t-shirts, including Prose before Hos and What wouldn't Jesus do?
