Fat beardie, new bird gym!

My fat beardie, asleep last night. (He's usually more flat than fat, but he was draped on a slope. :)



Lucy's new Jungle Talk climbing gym--retail $399, picked up as a floor model from the local Petsmart for $25! Their big cage got a huge manzanita stand, and when I asked a manager about the old gym that was still on the floor, she offered it for cheap! Took the motorcycle home, returned after dinner in the truck with Lucy, packed it up, took it home, disinfected, and there you have it!

(Total cost after I added hanging ladder and trapeze, bowls, mineral block and wheels, $69 even. :)

Oh yeah--my truck's happier now that I added a quart of oil (not critical) and a gallon of coolant (critical, probably since the trip to Radford 5.5 weeks ago!) Oops. :P

I also chatted with the salesgirl who was cleaning it for me alongside the manager, all about getting into motorcycles. :)

Now, to see if Becky's still at Dr. Dremo's..

Update, 23:22: Nope, didn't go tonight, but we chatted on the phone for a while and will meet up next week sometime. Becky rocks. :)
