Work financial goodness, Bushit, mil.service, and Transformers

At work today I was notified a) of my $1/hr raise, effective with the paycheck I'll get tomorrow, b) that I'm not getting a bonus because I haven't been with the company long enough, and c) of the possibility that I could lose employment in 60 days due to contract stuff, and if I choose to find other employment, could I please wait until June 15th to start elsewhere. (a) is the case for all of my fellow technicians, (b) is the case for anyone who hasn't been around at least a year or so, (c) is a formality and not likely, but they're required to notify us.

CNN.com: Bush: I don't plan on losing my job. I personally liked a bit in USA Today or the WashPost about his decision-making, and how he ignores polls of the public because he "doesn't make decisions that way." Way to serve your people, Dubya.
