Manassas run

Drove to Manassas, had dinner with family, took lots of photos of my bike and gear--both for posterity and for possible part sales--and drove to gothiccripple's and beastinme's place, stopping along the way at the ABC store to pick up a bottle of Tuaca, which went over well.

Party was great--met a lot of people, most of whom have LJs that I'll learn later, and it didn't fully wind down until the sky was getting light, at which point I drove my tired self home.

Possible bike lead, vanity plates

Oh yeah--one of the things Doug and I talked about (at length) last night was the possible hookups he had in his circle of friends regarding parting out my bike, which he'll start investigating Monday. Good deal. :)

On the way to Manassas yesterday, in rush hour traffic, I noted my pleasure regarding the low cost of vanity plates in Virginia--they're everywhere! So, I wrote the best ones down to share--all collected over the span of about 8 miles of I-66 and 234.
