St. Pat's night plans
Mar. 17th, 2004 04:59 pmMy search for St. Patrick's Day entertainment took me first to the 9:30 Club where I found that Great Big Sea has a sold-out concert there tonight, then to AllNVA which now redirects to COX.net for Northern Virginia, where I learned about a rock/pop show at the State Theatre in Falls Church featuring OddBox and Mellowhead Blue. I've never heard of either of these bands, but expect to enjoy it all the same. :)
In other news, local weather sucks. From 50-60 a few days ago, it was 36, grey and humid this morning, and 39 and drizzling at the moment.
In other other news, today at worked I discussed and helped write up a proposal for a new promotion structure (which will likely never be implements), and then learned how to wire a large UPS (that we'll never wire, and in fact will generally only deal with inasmuch as the electricians generally don't know how to install them properly and may ask us to doublecheck their work.) Good stuff, eh?
