As evidenced in a radio commercial I heard earlier, 7-Eleven is clearly quite proud of their new taquito product with "Queso Cheese." 'nuff said.

I'm slowly being sucked into the addiction of TextTwist, but it'll be a while before I'm at the levels of [livejournal.com profile] pendragon (366K points in one several-hour session) or [livejournal.com profile] idoru (1.5mil points over one multi-day session.)

Last night I took Lucy to Petsmart to get something for every animal in the house--treats for her, shampoo for the dogs, background, heat lamp bulb, crickets, and superworms for the bearded dragon, background and fake vine for the crested gecko, and crickets for the tarantula--and discovered that having a macaw on your shoulder adds at least 15 minutes to the trip answering people's questions and admiration. Just one of those things, I guess. ;D

Immediate addendum: Paul, what the hell happened to your journal? I'm pretty sure it existed earlier today!

*snrk* From a Support in-joke, but funny all the same: No, You Can't Have a Pony.

From [livejournal.com profile] vinz_klortho: The Dihydrogen Monoxide joke got taken seriously. Sad, yet funny.

Serious education rant by [livejournal.com profile] jude, in response to the article I posted earlier. Also, reaffirmation of my desire to read more Taylor Mali, which I have yet to get to.
