Assorted other potentially interesting geopolitical posts on my friends page which I may post tomorrow, but I haven't read them through yet. Went to Latebra for appetizers of crackers, cheese, ham, roast beef, kangaroo prosciutto, and box port that I picked up on the way, then dinner of roast chicken, steamed broccoli and steamed butternut pumpkin squash with cheese sauce, and more port and a white wine. then there was chatting and music, and I left sometime after 2am. I maintain that sleep is superfluous, despite my recent fatigue. Ha!

In fun news, it looks like I'll get more LauraTime(tm) than I thought, as she may be free Thursday as well! As long as I'm back at work on Friday, the office don't care. :D

And I thought I'd had long days in the past..

After about 1.5-2 hours of sleep last night, I've been at work since 7am--it's now 9:25pm--with the end still a good ways off. We've started a section of the project that has to be completed before business hours recommence, see.

So, while Dave has already left and isn't coming in tomorrow, I'm here very late, have to come in tomorrow at least for a bit due to necessities of travel arrangements and mailing stuff--which I'm still not prepared to do, no boxes on hand--and all I really want to do is wash my hands of the current project, get ready to leave, and fly out to San Francisco. :)

(Of course, I'm relying on my team leader's poorly-elocuted email to the company travel agent to rearrange my flights, and actually kind of hoping he can't do it so I can just say the word at the AmEx Travel office to book the flights they've already set up for me.
