Would you -please- not fire at the thermonuclear weapon?

Watched Broken Arrow with Shauna. She described it afterwards as something like "a mix of one-liners and crappy dialogue", which just about sums it up. Crappy dialogue, predictable plot, some continuity gaps, but a lot of exciting special effects and very entertaining quotes. Slept through part of the last half, as tends to happen when I'm lying on a couch watching a movie late at night, so re-watched a good chunk of the 2nd half while Shauna went to use my computer and then return to also rewatch. (I first saw the movie with Felicia back in '96 or '97, around when it came out on video. Also saw The Rock that night, which is a much better movie with an excellent soundtrack. :)

And now, to go sleep in. Ah, a day off work before several unpleasantly-early opening shifts.

I really don't think I have the patience for having children of my own. Of course, I say this after an hour straight of the ~1-year-old next to me refusing to simultaenously stop screaming and stay laid down, and go to sleep. It doesn't help that my bird is equally annoyed by his screaming, and throws in some of her own, which a) I don't blame her for, but b) makes me even more annoyed at him. (Yes, yes, he's one, but the fact that he's thusly unreasonable doesn't make me any happier. :P)

Today was fairly uneventful. Slept in, took my bird to visit the neighbors, left a message with Laurie at RDR, made dinner, played online, and work early tomorrow.
