Worked 2-close (around 11 again, today). Busy, not terribly so. Got to Neosporin a Redheaded Agama's (lizard) chin, syringe some Pedialyte to a Mountain Horned Dragon, and syringe some Baytril (antibiotic?) to a guinea pig after hypodermicking it out of one of those rubber-capped glass vials. New/different! Also, a couple of Bengal cats were brought by the store--leashed, gorgeous, friendly, and very soft--one walked right into my lap when I sat down. :) The owners had to explain all about Bengal cats several times while I was within earshot--they just attract that much attention. :)
Had two pieces of pound cake and one of chocolate cream cheese cake while closing, because they were still around in the fridge from yesterday--cake shows up from the management monthly. :)

Now, food, music, LJ catchup; then sleep, as I'm opening tomorrow--8am-4pm.
Crap! Daylight Savings Time starts tonight! Goodbye, one hour of sleep. :P

This is a fun song, I forget who suggested/linked to it. [livejournal.com profile] skamille or [livejournal.com profile] ragdoll13, probably, and I'm too lazy to check.

I'm certainly not one, but I try to understand their needs.. poorly, I'll admit. ;)

..but some people are interesting enough to merit forgoing sleep in favor of IMing. :)

(Two others also contributed, but to much lesser degrees. :)

Not hitting the Alarm button when it goes off, no--disabling it via the switch on the back, because I know I set it before I went to sleep, yet I woke up several minutes late to find it disabled.

Oh well. Off to work.

Hurried to work by 8:30, completed most of opening procedures by opening at 10, and work wasn't too bad. We're having an influx of people with carnival-won goldfish, and I try to set them up so the fish actually have a good chance of living. :P Pretty slow overall, some great dogs came through, and shortly before I got off, who [to my wondering eyes] should appear, but Nathan Clark [though no tiny reindeer]! He was in the area visiting his sister and the carnival, and knew I was working today.

So now he's here, got to see all the new additions to the house (including my bird), and shortly we're going back out to hang out at his place, get some food, and see his improv show later--or in his case, perform in it. :) And I don't work tomorrow, for the first time in almost a week! Woo!

Probably be back late tonight, so be sure to miss me until I return! :)
