Cue goodness
Apr. 3rd, 2003 03:14 amAnother great night at Cue!
djkangal and
djpaulen good as always, with special guest Rick Danger.
Hung out with Nick and the lovely
Becky for most of the evening, didn't have any alcohol because I rode my motorcycle in, talked about the bike with a few club regulars, showed it off afterwards. :)
Should really put the windshield on for highway riding.. doesn't look as nice, but makes it a lot more comfortable. :P (60s on the way out, 53 or less on the way back--it got a few degrees cooler as I headed west on 66. Fortunately, I had the foresight to bring a long-sleeved shirt with me. :)
Music I'm planning on getting:
Metallica - S&M, a copy from one of the girls on my friends list, replacing my lost copy. Alas, no liner notes--they're pretty. :)
Evanescence, the recent album, from Becky. They're -so good-, and she has an original, and I can copy CDs. :)
And One, played by Kangal. Good stuff.
Linkin Park - Meteora, probably, at Ted's suggestion.
Movies I'm adding to the list to see:
Equilibrium, recommended by Nick.
Metropolis, the digitally remastered version (not the anime version that showed on the screen a Cue a few times tonight), also recommended by Nick
