Feb. 5th, 2003 02:17 pmHaving finished with Shauna's two mp3 CDs, I'm on to the first of Matt's pair. First folder: Coil - Hellraiser Themes. :)
Worked 7-1. Started off as a "This day is too long already" sort of day before 9, including a backed up floor drain and a broken ShopVac.. but by 1 it was all right again, we got pretty much all of the new merchandise put away by then. (Only 13 pallets on the truck, though--normal's about 20, apparently.)
After work, picked up 20lbs of food for my bird, because the unit cost at that size is $2.50/lb, vs. the 4lb bags at 2.3c/oz, or $3.25/lb. Minus a 15% discount, of course. Plus some dried fruit treats. :)
Had some new wallpaper installed recently, some well, some half-assedly--in the powder room, visible seams, incomplete coverage, peeling, and no paper behind removable fixtures--which was surprising, since all the other work that Yusef (the contractor) has done has been excellent. Today, a friendly pair of wallpaper subcontractors are working in the house, having replaced the paper in the powder room (with nicer-looking paper, incidentally), and are currently working in the kitchen while Yusef & co. replace the shingles across both garages--there was a highly visible seam/ridge between the two halves of the roof.

Now, ah.. caught up on email and LJ, and it's gorgeous out. Maybe I'll go waste time outside instead of in. :)
