Oops.. seems when I shifted over to the
ljwin32_sema client mid-summer, I forgot to add the community to my friends page so I'd learn about updates.
There have since been three updates, including today's update to Semagic 1.2.1.1. Included is a seemingly arbitrary change from a little blue pencil to a little purple fountain pen (same with the splash graphic), and a change from "color of pencil flashes" to "whole pen flashes, after chaning color".
Thanks to
N@ for indirectly bringing it to my attention, though he won't see this post. :)

Sometimes, when I want to save an IM but don't have time for a descriptive filename, I just save it as nametemp.htm, nametemp2.htm, etc., and eventually go back and rename them. However, my AIM files folder had about 60 "temp" IMs in it, dating back as far as mid-1999.. I've been working through renaming and filing some of those. :)
I got a call from a Jen Durdall. :)
She was inviting me to join her and
Carson to see Red Dragon tonight.. which I'd really like to see--and to hang out with the two of them--but alas, already have plans to go to another movie night at
Misty's. :)
However, I got to talk with Jen D for a good while, which I haven't gotten to do in months/years. =)

Ah, those were the days..

CU Stryker: wow, some of the comic-readers on sluggy are nuts..
CU Stryker: the ones who read 40 or 50 daily
CU Stryker: i read a mere 10 or so :-)
Also:
CU Stryker: i still think that some of the more popular ones are too much of a pain to follow (road waffles), [or] not entertaining enough (penny arcade)
And just look at me now!
In retrospect, Road Waffles was quite good, but unfortunately ended; and, PA is still great. :)
