Mar. 15th, 2002 02:32 pmAnd I'm talking "no class, spring break's started, 65F, 65% humidity, sometimes sunny" beautiful day, I've actually gotten to work on my truck again. Replaced the thermostat as I'd been meaning to do for weeks/months, then had to replace the flush/fill tap because the old one got brittle enough to break.
Meanwhile, next to my thermostat-replacement in my big old truck, is Simon replacing his exhaust manifold with a shiny aluminum high-performance one. The contrast was entertaining. (Also, seeing Alex pick the lock to the shed, just because he could, to get a piece of pipe, and then use that pipe, through a cinderblock, on a wrench, to help remove the old O2 sensor from the old manifold to transfer to the new one, was impressive/entertaining.)
