Saw The Winter's Tale at the CPA tonight with Katia.. rather entertaining, though I think I'd have to see it another time (or read it) to get some of the finer points. Great set (including apparently remote control rolling bits of scenery), some excellent acting (like the big black guy who played Death in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, which will likely mean nothing to any of you), some decent acting, some very funny parts.. good show.
Then, since we were all dressed nicely, we decided to go to Stella's instead of the usual Chapter House. Crowded, noisy, but very (self-described) swanky. Katia had a White Chocolate Martini and a Rita Mae, I had a Brandy Alexander and a Newton (spiced rum, triple sec, and apple cider in a sugar-rimmed martini glass--delectable!).. Couldn't do the Stella's thign too often, though--pricey! And then we came home. :)

The group "Da Vinci's Notebook" rocks. The songs Ally McBeal, Enormous Penis, Liposuction, Metal Shop, The Dreidel Song, Three Little Words, and Title of the Song, are particularly entertaining. =)

So we decided to go out to dinner tonight. :)
First tried the Lost Dog café, decided it was too crowded; stopped by Dano's Vienna Café. too expensive, and ended up at Ragmann's Café. Had some delectable garlic cheese bread, very tasty pasta florentine and turkey ruben, and drinks that were simply to die for. (A couple frozen coffee/chocolate/liqueur drinks before dinner, a couple hot coffee/chocolate/liqueur drinks after.)
Soooo good.
=)
