Tonight's guest in Cornell's own sold-out (1900 seat) Bailey Hall was none other than Kevin Smith himself!

After a bit of a late start at 8:20pm, he answered questions from dozens of audience members with multiple dozens of anecdotes about himself, his life, his movies, his interactions with the stars and George Lucas, New Jersey, and Jason Mewes' sex life, at one point calling up Jay to talk to us via cellphone-into-microphone. Everything until 11:40pm was taped for partial use in the a future DVD extra, then he was going to stay on until the last person with questions was left--which he analogized to Bruce "Boss" Springsteen staying on until there were just two revelers screaming BOSS! in the stands. :) It ended up running until 1:45am.

Katia and I left around 12:30 and went down to State Street Diner for a midnight meal, and now (unfortunately), I have a problem set to do, due today. Am I glad I went anyway? Damn right.

After making half a dozen distinct mistakes, I've finally completed problem #1 of 6. It's taken an hour and a half, when it should've been much more like half an hour.

...of course, the next three problems then took about 5 minutes each.

...seems they beat up the Cornell homepage with it. Beat it with the Unhelpful stick and Un-navigable sticks, too. Sorry state of affairs, if you ask me.

And hey, if you have any affiliation with Cornell, you can legitimately go here and complain!
