me: you do Ford service, correct?
receptionist: let me transfer you, please hold.
...
me: i need to find the fuse for the fuel pump on my 86 Bronco II
service: under the dash..
me: it's not one of the regular fuses under the dash.
service: there should be a fuse box under the hood, too. i think it's controlled by a relay, though.
me: haynes manual says there's a fuse..
service: let me transfer you to Parts, they have diagrams.
...
me: (same problem described)
parts: under the dash..
me: not under the dash.
parts: let me go check the diagrams
...
parts: diagram says it doesn't have a fuse, it's all relays. go check the manual again.
me: ok.
bleh.
it's -really- hot out. and the fuel pumps themselves are in terribly inaccessible locations, so I hope I don't end up having to replace either of them.
why does the manual say there's a fuse? and where's the relay?
