So I was watching a copy of a movie I got from a friend this past evening, which arrived as two .asf files. Part 1 was 1:11:18 long, file size was ~400MB, and it played without a hitch. Part 2 thought it was 1:00:51 long, file size was ~150MB, and can we see the problem there, right around 0:25:06? Turns out the day I was receiving it was a day I was having DSL problems, and the sender didn't want to retry the upload until I enabled File Resume (setting Append rights for the Upload folder, as it happens). I did this shortly thereafter, but forgot to mention this explicitly, so I discovered my incomplete copy tonight.
So, I may be able to continue watching it tomorrow night, after I receive a complete second half. Rarrrr.
