Rocky!

Just got back from seeing RHPS at Risley (2nd semester in a row :).. honestly, it was even better this time. The audience was on, the actors were great, the virgin sacrifices were plentiful, I knew a couple dozen people present (most of my Gaelic class, some jugglers, assorted others), Mike West was sacrificed.. and Katia really enjoyed it, too :)

Softball?

Had intramural softball game with the MechE team this afternoon, which wasn't cancelled according to the IM webpage, but no officials showed.. so we and our opponents (who turned out to be CivE's, not to mention rather much better than us) played anyway for an hour and a half or so..

Not that I've played softball (or baseball) in many years, mind you.. 10th grade might've been the last time. However, I didn't do horribly, and I think with a little practice, I could be decent.

However, I have no desire to do so. Other sports appeal to me more, like basketball, soccer, football, ultimate, rowing, volleyball, snowboarding, skiing, hopscotch, full-contact origami, etc, etc.. :)

But that didn't stop her. I really don't want to have to put everything in Friends-only, but things really aren't as good between us as she'd like to think. I haven't written back to her most recent email wherein she suggested I drive all the way out to Syracuse to have lunch, this past weekend, because she was going to be there.

I suppose the polite thing to do, for her sake, is to ask her to stop reading privately. I'm not sure if I'm feeling polite, though.
