BB King rocks. :)
Apr. 9th, 2001 02:01 amJust saw Bobby "Blue" Bland open for BB King and his band.. both are great (and are aged 72 and 75, respectively), but BB King truly is the King of Blues. That was such an awesome show.. He sang/played (he played guitar (Lucille) as well as sang) a couple songs that I'd like to quote here, but I forget the titles and CDDb isn't helping :P
One was something about "be good to your body, make love tonight" ;)
Then, Katia and I walked down to Ctown where we met Yanerys (that's pronounced Ja-ner'-ys) and went to Rulloff's (I'd never been there) for drinks (a pitcher of Guinness and another of Saranac Black Forest); on the way back to my house I introduced Katia to the Niftinesses that are the architecture, past contents, and acoustics of the outside of the Johnson Museum of Art..
and now, sleep comes to Scott :)
