Just saw Bobby "Blue" Bland open for BB King and his band.. both are great (and are aged 72 and 75, respectively), but BB King truly is the King of Blues. That was such an awesome show.. He sang/played (he played guitar (Lucille) as well as sang) a couple songs that I'd like to quote here, but I forget the titles and CDDb isn't helping :P

One was something about "be good to your body, make love tonight" ;)

Then, Katia and I walked down to Ctown where we met Yanerys (that's pronounced Ja-ner'-ys) and went to Rulloff's (I'd never been there) for drinks (a pitcher of Guinness and another of Saranac Black Forest); on the way back to my house I introduced Katia to the Niftinesses that are the architecture, past contents, and acoustics of the outside of the Johnson Museum of Art..
and now, sleep comes to Scott :)

I was awake at 7:30, and at 9:30 (the latter being when I intended to get up, so I could go to my 11:15 class wherein I have midterm #2 tomorrow night). So what do I do? Fall asleep again and wake up at 11:45.

Dammit. Well, there's still a review session tonight.

a) It's only Monday? Why does it feel like the week has been going on so much longer?

b) Mmm, another semi-beautiful day out. Just played frisbee with Matt Judge and his friend Jamie on the Engr Quad for 20min or so, beside a homicidal set of Ultimate players. The E Quad really isn't the place for Ultimate. :P And now (in 9 minutes) an ASME general meeting including free pizza/soda/chips (yay!) and a Paintball trip I can't sign up for (boo!) due to its conflict with Initiation weekend..

c) Heh. Good thing I checked my schedule this morning. When I woke at 11:45 and got up, I was thinking I had scene shop from 1-5. Turns out I had lab 1:25-4:25, which I discovered about 1:10. Was there on time anyway, though Tyler never showed. Worked nicely with just Brian and myself, though.

Bleah!

And then I left the ASME meeting, threw around a football for a minute, and it started pouring rain. That's Ithaca for you.

Pleased to meet you.

(Data from here during the 8pm hour of 4/9/01. I was curious. :)
