So.. for a bit I attempted to see if I could get to go to SCD's formal last night, but gave up when it became obvious that several members think it should be a closed event--brothers/sisters/pledges/alumni and serious relationship-type friends only, and some would probably argue against the last.. I can only kinda understand, because every other fraternity (including mine) welcomes dates at formal events. I know SCD's co-ed, but still..
Anyway, so I went to the APhiO banquet, which was a blast.. 'twas held at the Clarion University Hotel, which is easily the least attractive hotel, inside and out, that I've ever been to.. fortunately, with the lights low in our ballroom, it was alright :) Mixmaster Vlad was on the mixer (program called MJ Studio, mp3 mixer--pretty cool :) and hosted a good dance.
And, Mike Jablon relayed several messages back and forth between Sue and myself.. I really didn't want anything to do with her this evening. However, come end of the evening, Mike tells me how upset she is and that she really wants to work things out this weekend, etc, and so I talked to her, and things are sorta ok.
Then I had to scrape ice off my windshield leaving the hotel! Dammit, it's supposedly Spring!
Then I heard Boston's "More Than a Feeling" done in electronica on WICB, which was just weird.
Changed into disco attire, which some of my faithful readers have seen, and caught the last hour of the third annual EcoDisco at Eco House (to rave reviews of my attire from the APOers and EcoHousers who I knew who were present :).
Stopped by SCD on the way home (after stopping by Katia's, but she wasn't there), hung out for a bit, then came back, put away all my nice and "nice" clothes, started some more laundry (figuring I wouldn't be going to sleep for a while anyway), and wrote this post.
Then Katia and her drunk friend Melissa showed up here, with the latter looking for Tony.
