mmm, snowy goodness.

Man, if snowboarding continues to be as much fun as yesterday's class, I may never go back to skis again =)

But the next day, oww. Muscles sore all over the place. ('course, fencing class the day before--all sorts of strange moves and such--probably didn't help prepare my muscles, either :)

Becca time!

so I get back from Greek Peak last night, hit the shower, and Becca and Mirb (Miriam, also from Wells) show up.. after hanging out with Neal for a while, the three of us head down to the new Haunt for 80's Night. We arrive to find parking overflowed, and 20+ people waiting outside in the ~10-degree weather. Mind you, this is at 11:30, and 80's Night runs about 9:30-2. Apparently, the Pilfers (a good Ska band) played and early all-ages show at 6:30, and they didn't clear out the under-18 people for 80's Night. So, they were at capacity, that's to say 500 people, and said they were letting in one person for every one that came out. So, after waiting around a bit and learning this, with Mirb in a tank-top (left jacket in car, silly girl) we decided to go back to Seal instead. Watched most of Shaft cuz it was on in 300, played some pool, then Becca & Mirb danced for us (something their dance class had choreographed), then Neal left and a somewhat intoxicated Mark arrived, started hitting on Mirb, and around 2:30am we escaped and I drove them back to Wells.
I then spent the night at Becca's, as well as most of today (left Wells around 5:30pm), where I caught her up on my life and she caught me up on hers and her time in Scotland.. we need to hang out more often :)
