Leatherwork! and related sharp things.
Jan. 12th, 2001 12:17 ama) Sewing leather is a pain. (Yeah, I know, go figure.)
b) The fairboot I borrowed from Matt that needed heel repair is repaired. (Yay!) (Unfortunately, 2 1/3 yards of leather isn't quite as much lacing as I should have for two boots, but it'll do. And I ran the fabric&crafts store out of 1/8" Lt Brn for the moment.)
c) Leather needles are wicked. Triangular very sharp point. (Fortunately stayed out of my finger.)
c2) Reminds me of a dagger that Lynn had at the weddign in Baltimore I took Sue to--triangular blade and copper oxide coating. Makes for a nasty wound. Won't close without stitches, and might just poison you.
