ooh, ow :)

Annual TJ Crew Alumni Pre-Gluttony run this morning.. 10am, gather with alumni and current rowers, and run around Burke Lake (~4.5mi). 'twas fun, though my calves will be killing me tomorrow :) Amusingly, the highest turnout from an individual college was Cornell (Bernie, Phill, Charles Chandler, and myself) plus some from UVA and assorted other schools. My goal was 40min, i got 40.5--good enough for me, and I ran the whole time and kept up with the lead pack for over half the run and came in only about a minute behind 'em.
Had fun trying to leave this morning, though, as smoke came out of the vents when I turned on the heater. Seems one of the spark plug wires was arcing to the frame of the truck and was burning some of the insulation on the heating system :P
(so I took the Camry while my dad figured that out; he's also currently fixing the fact that one of my 6 cylinders isn't firing, probably due to an ignition problem--he replaced teh spark plug wires, and is now checking out some of the spark plugs. That does explain why I was getting ~17mpg on the way home, when I should get about 23 for highway driving)..

Ooh, and the 'rents are going to take me shopping for new motherboard/processor/memory/video, for my birthday! yay! =)
