post-show :)
Nov. 17th, 2000 03:57 amsaw Taming of the Shrew at the Center for Theater Arts (CTA) last night (for free, cuz I did a lot of scenery and lighting work).. set in the 1950s; -very- well done, and freakin' hilarious :) and this was opening night!
then off to the regular post-opening-night cast party at Chariot (Ithaca's Only Ungerground Pizza Joint) till about 1:30, then chatted with a girl from the party who was parked near me in the garage for an hour and a half or so..
but, that's not the girl I'm potentially interested in, but her friend. I'd heard of Shari around the shop before (from Z, the Master Electrician), but hadn't met her 'til tonight.. very cool girl (and about 5'4", short reddish-brown hair, very thin, cute :), also a senior, lives in Risley, works in the theater. (And BTW, I don't even want to hear anyone bitch about me being fickle or anything.. I can be interested in more than one girl at a time, and if I don't count Sue (cuz that's a long shot at best), this makes one person that I'm interested in. Maybe 2, read on.)
Also got a mail sort of out of the blue from Abby, whom I might've mentioned sometime back--ran into her outside Dickson/Balch several weeks ago, we both seemed to recognize each other but couldn't remember why; chatted for a while, exchanged an e-mail or two the next day or two, then hadn't heard from her.. passed her on the way home from class yesterday afternoon, we thought we'd recognized each other in passing, and then I get a mail from her saying hi.. pretty cool.
Anyway, it's late, I'm tired and slightly sick, and I have to get up in about 4hrs to meet Todd in 5hrs to work on the problem set due in 6hrs..
