...a Rocky Horror virgin, that is.

Every semester, Risley puts on RHPS. I've missed it every time. This time, I got tix in advance, dressed as a Time Warper, packed my props, and went.

It was incredible.. I think that's the most fun I've had all year. =) =) =)

books, gas, and glue

a) after 3 hrs sleep, got up to go help transport books into/set up shelves in/shelve books in the new Tompkins County Public Library for several hours.. 'twas fun, and the new library is -nice-. Reminds me of PWC public libraries :)

b) ran my truck the lowest on gas ever.. 20 gallon tank, that I put 21.5gal into :)

c) used the coolest glue today.. to add strength to the wing joints in the 2 balsa/basswood gliders we're building for one of my classes, I got some superglue from the RoboCup lab.. one bottle is several ounces of cyanoacrylate superglue (10-30sec cure time). and if that weren't enough, the other bottle is several ounces of Activator. you spritz/dab it on over the superglue, and the glue cures -instantly-. it crackles and smokes a bit, the reaction's so potent. I was quite impressed. mm, Hyperglue :)
