hrm.

well, after getting a minimal e-mail from bria (about ferrets, and accepting monday lunch again) i decided my ferrets should go visit her at her room; we did so, she liked muchly, then i had to jet to go work on late HW with HW partner (which, incidentally, was punctuated by 007 (15 Days of Bond on TBS, baby), the Man Show, and John Leguizamo).. sent her a few IMs (she has AIM! yay!) and got zero response before she signed off, so sent her mail.. her mail mentality seems to be "person X sent me mail, perhaps several pieces, and I sent person X mail back, and thus I have replied to their mail. even if i didn't address many/any of the issues/questions they raised/posed." which isn't really an effective way to communicate, when you get down to it. so i dunno.. she still seems to enjoy my company, readily accepts lunch invites, but frequently i don't hear from her for days on end (even after she's told me to write back soon). i don' get it.

had lunch in the presence of Bria again today ("with" doesn't quite apply, she wasn't hungry), this time down in the WSH Rock Garden, which she liked.. then she had to go do HW and study and get new glasses and such (after half an hour or so) so i hung around the Straight for an hour waiting for people I knew to pass by, then went to the CTA to play in the scene shop and lighting.. as i was about finished with lighting for the day, Marisa (another cute techie) happened through cuz they were done in the scene shop.. we hung around and danced to the music (Grosse Pointe Blank soundtrack) for half an hour, then i walked with her back to her dorm, where we stood outside talking for 45 minutes or so before i went off to dinner and work.. i may just be interested. (well, i kinda was before, but at this point i can't decide if bria's being her usual hard-to-get self, or if she's actually not interested [1], so i'm possibly interested in Marisa..) So, I'll see what happens with that.. (she likes ferrets, too, as luck would have it ;)

Marisa's about 5'2", waist-length dark blonde hair, blue eyes, very friendly. ver' cool :)

[1]: Now, this isn't to say I've given up on Bria, but.. she's not seeming particularly interested in me as more than a friend. I could be wrong--she does enjoy my company when I'm there--but she doesn't write back to many of my e-mails, doesn't IM me when she's on, doesn't return phone calls.. so either she just doesn't communicate well other than in person (which doesn't seem to be the case cuz she says she's often on the phone and multiple IMs and email) or she's just not interested in doing so with me. she's not one to beat around the bush, though, so i'd think she'd tell me to bugger off if that were the case.. dunno.
