ack! stuff!
Aug. 21st, 2000 03:35 pmmy room is altogether too full of stuff, but it's a good full.
> leftover snack food from meeting with freshmen
> new textbooks (2 MechEng ones, and Wine for Dummies *grin*)
> new music (old Cayuga's Waiters, new Last Call, and a couple Seth Kaufman CDs (awesome Cornell '95 pianist, who finally got back in touch with Campus Store! yay!)
> new phone (GE, 900MHz, digital ans. machine)
> new clothes from home--and man, does my mom know how to bargain-shop. 8 pairs of shorts (3 denim, 2 khaki, 3 cargo) and 4 plaid shirts, original total cost $228, purchase total $60, from a clearance sale at JCPenney. (and these are Wrangler, UnionBay, Lee, Arizona Jean Company, and Croft&Barrow--good stuff)

(oh, and the University Bursar is a bitch. They claim we still owe them almost $6,000, but my dad can't argue it until he gets home from visiting his father whose wrist was broken in a minor car accident recently)
