Weekend was good :)
Aug. 6th, 2000 10:04 pmSaturday, went to SixFlags Darien Lake with Phill and Laurie for my company's picnic.. had time to ride 'bout all the 'coasters, which all rocked.. didn't have time for the Superman, tho, which kinda sucked, and had to leave on the 5pm bus instead of the 11pm cuz Laurie had to be back earlier for some research stuff.. overall fun fun day :)
Sunday, went to the Renaissance Festival in Sterling, NY (and only got lost for an extra hour or 2 of driving on the way ;), also with Phill and Laurie, and it made me remember a) why I should have been born several hundred years earlier, b) that I should really make myself some garb, and c) how much I'd like to be able to afford a thousand-dollar black leather cloak that weighs a good 5-10# that you can just wrap yourself up in and look damn good and feel like a million :)
also reminded me that I should expand my artistic skills in Celtic knotwork from paper only to other media (wood, metal, etc.) :)
got a problem set due tomorrow, tho. damn. but, looking at the past several weeks, i'll probably just do it mid-day tomorrow.
