Midsummer party report

skreidleThere was Doug, Tenoya, Tony, Violet, Jay/Kinetic (whom I'd seen several times at Alchemy and reminded me of Tony), Tammy (whom I hadn't met before), Martin (who I think I had), [DJ Solaries], and several other people whose names I didn't catch and/or remember. There were an assortment of drinks and tasty foodstuffs. There was much music, including Depeche Mode, David Bowie, and Prince. There was Futurama. There was vinyl for sale, there were girls in vinyl, there were girls and guys in a vinyl vacuum bed, one at a time. There was much conversation on all manner of topic. A good time was had by all. :)
However, on the way to the party, there was a stop at the Huntsman Square Giant for pickup of two sixes of good beer, and a good 15-20 minutes waiting in one of the four open lines, each with a good 5-10 people in them, and no one at customer service. Ridiculous. Also, my cashier didn't even have the $40 cash i requested in her register, so I got four $5s, ten $1s, and a $10 from another register. Bah.
