Via covielle: Michael Chabon in the NYTimes responds to the recent San Francisco Chronicle-reported debacle of a student expelled and a teacher fired for dealing with disturbing literature: It's a Brave New World of censorship.

To nitpick, it would be Michael Chabon *in* the NYTimes, not Michael Chabon *of* the NYTimes, since as far as I know he is an author, not a newspaper columnist.

Then you haven't read The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, which means that you really should. It's a great book, and it's about two fictional comic book authors in the "golden age" of comic books.
