Traveling pup and other photos

So as I mentioned at some point in the past, yoopie asked me for a favor on behalf of her 10-year-old, 3rd-grade nephew Steven. In lieu of traveling around the world, he and his classmates are sending small stuffed animals around the world with a travel journal, and a request to: send a postcard back to Michigan, update the journal, include a trinket, and mail it elsewhere. I figured, sure, I could write a bit, mail a postcard, include a trinket--but wouldn't it be cool to see the pet in its travels? And so, I took his dog Shadow and a camera around Canberra...

OMG...now THAT was entertainment...reminds me of that garden gnome....oh you so rule, I will make your cookies really soon. I will let you get settled back into this time zone.
