Wanderlust

It's not often that I get a feeling of discontent about sitting in one place, as I'm generally fine with days or weeks of computer-ing, online chatting, and occasionally going out and doing stuff.

Today, though.. today I want to go. Ideally on a motorcycle, off onto the highways of this enormous country I'm visiting. See the cities, towns, endless outback, take some photos..



But instead, I've gone out to the City Walk, got a phone recharge, went to the mall and bought nothing, listened in on a folk band and a wandering troupe of percussionists, thought about learning the didgeridoo, and returned to my hotel. In an hour, I'll go to work for the afternoon/evening.

Anyone want to get me some time off work, and optionally join me for wandering?

Alas, I shan't have much in the way of time off until August, when I've been around a year. :P

do you get any before then?
I get five days in my first year, a smattering of holidays and two floating holidays

I get a lot of paid holidays, and about 40 hours of personal/sick leave that slowly accumulate through the year.
