Dinner @ Latebra, Insomnia, upcoming Cube
Went over to Latebra, picking up milk/bread/soda/wine on the way, as requested. (Only fair, as I've received a lot of free food and drink in the recent past. :) Hung out with Jillian, Oscar, Kit, then Dom, then Jilian's friend/coworker Liz whom Oscar picked up from Tilley's. (We intended to go to Tilley's around 8, as usual for Friday night, but never made it--dinner prep and dinner ran late. Incidentally, Liz is a cute, outgoing little redhead. ;) Then dinner--lasagne featuring kangaroo, mushroom, and eggplant, and scalloped potatoes. The kangaroo tasted a lot like beef--though I'm told it smells different in cooking--and I didn't notice the eggplant, which is really one of my least favorite vegetables.
We (the above minus Kit/Dom) then traveled to my apartment a bit after 10, hung out there for a while, and proceeded on to Insomnia, where Jillian had work 11pm-close (as usual). Talked a lot, danced a lot, generally had a great time. Oscar & Liz left around 2, I left around 4, and plan to get in several whole hours of sleep before work. ;) (Yes, work on a Saturday, as usual.)
Saturday night, we (Jillian, Oscar, I, and possibly Liz) are headed to Cube, a classy and largely gay club, because it should be interesting. :) (Apparently it has a much nicer atmosphere and clientele than most of the other clubs in the area. On a related note, I also have to dress more nicely than the cargo pants and t-shirt that are fine at most of the other clubs. :P)

"We're very concerned that the traditional state of marriage is under threat in our country by homosexual activists," said AFA representative Buddy Smith. "It just so happens that homosexual activist groups around the country got a hold of the poll -- it was forwarded to them -- and they decided to have a little fun, and turn their organizations around the country (onto) the poll to try to cause it to represent something other than what we wanted it to. And so far, they succeeded with that."
Good discussion of legitimate research, slanted polls, and misguided responses in his post here.
Also, my relationship personality style according to OK Cupid. Pretty accurate overall.
